The tension is building up amongst consumers as they anxiously keep on waiting to hear when the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is going to be released. However its first showcasing was done a few days back, and there is a lot to talk about since then and we are comprehensively going to overview in this Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Review.
Body
Although it is natural to assume that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is going to bear resemblance to its predecessor ? Galaxy Note, it surprisingly seems to be a larger version of the Samsung Galaxy S3. It has got a similar strong and clear design, very crisp with round corners, a bubbled out screen and scant bezels.
Samsung has laid the foundation of a new category that ranks between phones and tablets and experts have even gone so far as to call it ?Phablet? because of its larger-than-usual size for the phone. But then, it?s Samsung; might seem a bit odd to place it next to your ear just to attend a call but it has plenty more to offer for a normal phone
Screen
If you compare it with the original Galaxy Note, the Super HD AMOLED screen is wider now (diagonally). What was initially 5.3? is now a 5.55 inch display with a screen resolution of 1,280 X 720 pixels. The user interface experience is much smoother than was with the older Galaxy Note. You will be able to see crisper colours and apps that simply seem to pop out of the screen.
The S Pen
From what we were briefly able to see, the best thing about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was the stylus S Pen which is a bit flatter and thicker than its predecessor. But because the new stylus has been modified, it is only compatible with the Galaxy Note 2 and not with the original Galaxy Note. Samsung has also introduced, what they call as Air View, with this Note 2. This refers to the cursor which is visible on the screen that can be used to open drop-down menus and you don?t need to use the stylus for that.
Internal Hardware
To put it simply, this little beauty is amazingly fast! Unlike its predecessor which ran on dual core, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a quad core Exynos processor with 1.6GHz and 2GB RAM.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has held its legacy of delivering a powerful 8 MP camera that captures HD photos.
Availability and Price
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Review cannot be complete without information about its price and availability; however the prototype model was unveiled more than a week ago, but so far more information about the release date has not been supplied. Furthermore not much can be said about its price, other than the fact that it is rumoured to be around ?544.98.
