Day three and the semifinals of the Season 2 North American Regional at PAX Prime.
Half the teams are gone, only CLG Prime, Curse, Dignitas and TSM remain. They will vie for their share of the remaining $110,000USD prize pool, and the salaried eSports career in the Season 3 Championship Series for the top 3 placement. Semi Final matches are again Bo3 but unlike in the 1st round the two losing teams have one more shot to face each other in the 3rd place match.

Semifinal 1: Team SoloMid vs Team Curse
11AM PDT/2PM EDT/8PM CEST

TSM seemed a bit shaky in their games vs mMe.ferus and I don't expect them to be much smoother here. Curse on the other hand seems ready to unleash some cheese and utilize frequent ambushes to disrupt TSM at every turn. That's not discounting TSM either but there have been games where TheOddOne has been made less relevant and Team Curse is one of the few teams in NA to do it. TSM needs to adapt quickly in what may play out as a game of inches. My prediction: This will either be a 2-0 for Curse or a very wild nail biter of a 2-1 for TSM.

TSM vs Curse, in my mind is the most contentious set of the entire tournament unless the finals end up as TSM vs Dig. Curse and TSM really feel like they're on equal footing right now. In my mind and it could go either way. If Dyrus can get champs that will be effective even with early trouble, TSM has a good shot at winning.
Semifinal 2: Counter Logic Gaming Prime vs Team Dignitas

Members of CLG Prime have always knocked TSM for not being able to adapt, now they are going to have to show how well they can do versus a team who is sure to bring the cheese for at least one game. Looking back at IPL4 and MLG Anaheim CLG lost twice versus Team Dignitas and were able to fight back to make it to the grand final. Lose to Team Dignitas today and the best CLG.Prime can do is place 3rd. Prediction: 2-1 Team Dignitas and likely the longest games of the tournament.

CLG vs Dig, I feel like I have to give it to Dig by a bit, especially after today's performance against Legion. Dig is such a strong tournament team it's not even worth pointing out and CLG seems to be faltering. Even if CLG is in top shape, Dig always finds a way to surprise us. Especially with Dig in the condition they've been in since they got back from Korea.
