A strong cold front made its way through North Texas during the morning hours of Friday?bringing with it a few showers and thunderstorms.? Rainfall amounts were generally less than ?? and no severe weather occurred thankfully.? A powerful upper level disturbance is working off to the east and the air will be sinking tonight and for the whole weekend.? This means nothing but clear skies!? The front will bring temperatures into the 40s in many areas overnight.? This will likely be the coldest night since March 23 at DFW, when the temperature dropped to 46?

DRY & WARM WEEK COMING UP
A large ridge of high pressure in the upper levels to establish itself over the central and western United States.? This is a dry pattern for North Texas, by and large.? We will see cool nights and warm days through Wednesday before the humidity values start climbing by the end of next week.? There is a slight chance of storms returning to our forecast by Friday of next week.
